Aston Villa welcome Burton Albion to Villa Park on Monday afternoon.
David Prutton has told Sky Sports that he expects to see Aston Villa beat Burton Albion at Villa Park on Boxing Day.
The Villans’ go into the clash on the back of some up and down form in the Championship.
Steve Bruce’s side have won three and lost two of their five league matches, but victory over Albion could see them move within three points of the playoff spots.

Victory would help Aston Villa ride the crest of a wave into the tricky visit of Leeds United – who beat them 2-0 at Elland Road earlier this month – on December 29.
And Prutton tells that Sky Sports that is certainly what he expects to happen.
He said: “Villa have been like Jekyll and Hyde in recent weeks but they managed to get the victory at QPR, thanks to their star striker Jonathan Kodjia who was absolutely fantastic.
“Burton had a good go against Newcastle and it wasn’t as straight forward a victory for the Magpies as the result may suggest. Despite losing two of their last four, I fancy Villa to see off Burton’s challenge.”
Burton sit 21st in the Championship and a much-needed win could see them move five points clear of the danger zone, but it is a big ask against Aston Villa.
