Leeds United striker Chris Wood has netted seven goals in 11 games this season.

David Prutton has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on 27th September, that Leeds United striker Chris Wood has answered the big question which hung over him this season.
Wood netted 13 goals last season for Leeds, but he has failed to win over all his doubters at Elland Road.
However, the 24-year-old has been in superb form so far this campaign – and has scored seven goals in 11 matches.

Wood now seems to have established his place as Leeds’ main striker, and Prutton feels that the target-man is showing that he does have enough goals in him to lead the line.
Wood’s fine form has helped Leeds win four matches in a row for the first time since 2010.
The Whites are now in 12th place in the Championship table, after making a slow start to the new campaign.
And Prutton feels that Monk deserves great credit for turning around Leeds’ form.

“I think Garry has had the time to turn back to principles he held in high regards in Swansea,’ the former Whites midfielder said.
“Chris Wood has hit a purple patch, and that’s always been the question with Wood – whether he can score enough goals for Leeds as a number nine.
“He’s also added. The fact he has the likes of Hernandez and Sacko to call on.
“Plus the two centre-halves, he has on the pitch. Jansson is a giant who will head anything and Bartley is the more nuanced of the two.”
Leeds are next in action later this evening, when they take on Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
