Leeds United are struggling on the road as of late and one statistic sums up their woes.

Leeds United have only had five shots on target in their last three away games.
If ever there was a statistic which highlights the problem which Leeds have faced on the road over the past couple of weeks then it’s that.
Thomas Christiansen’s side went down 3-0 at Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, after losing away to Cardiff City and Millwall over the past couple of weeks. They were top of the Championship before losing to those two.

And a mere five shots on target in all three games illustrates that there is a lot for Christiansen to address, but he has time in which to do so courtesy of a timely international break.
Former Whites midfielder David Prutton was in the Sky Sports studio for the defeat at Hillsborough and although he agrees that they aren’t doing enough in the final third, the Sky Sports pundit says that the hiatus gives them a chance to regroup.
After being told about that statistic, Prutton said: “No it isn’t [good enough] but there was a difference to the Cardiff game.

“Maybe this international break – regardless of who goes where and plays for whichever country – it gives them a chance to regroup. They’ve had a wonderfully positive start to the season.”
United, who now sit fifth in the Championship, host Reading at Elland Road on October 14.
