Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Jason Cummings to Ibrox, and former Celtic winger David Provan has a warning for him.

Rangers have signed Cummings from Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England in the January transfer window.
The Gers have secured the services of the former Hibernian striker on loan from Forest for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old striker has arrived at Ibrox with a strong reputation, but former Celtic winger Provan has warning the youngster from getting carried away.

The former Scotland international winger has used the example of ex-Celtic forward Watt as an example to suggest that Cummings should keep his feet on the ground.
Watt was on the books of Celtic from 2011 until 2014, but the 24-year-old failed to make an impact during his time at Celtic Park.
The forward, who earned a cap for Scotland in 2016 and also had spells at Standard Liege and Charlton Athletic, is now at Belgian First Division B side OH Leuven.

Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun about Cummings: “He has all the tools to be a Scotland regular. If he trains properly and gets a serious head on, he certainly has the talent to crack it at Ibrox. Anything else would be a betrayal of that ability.
“Less than two years ago, another 22-year-old made his full Scotland debut against the Czech Republic. Like Cummings, Tony Watt appeared to have the world at his feet.
“Now? The former Celtic kid is playing in the Belgian second division with OH Leuven and couldn’t be further out of the Scotland picture. Like Cummings, Watt is a natural finisher, but it takes more than talent to succeed.”
