Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers winger Daniel Candeias was sent off against St. Mirren earlier this month.

Candeias was dismissed for two bookable offences during Steven Gerrard’s side’s 2-0 win against St. Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on November 3.
As reported on BBC Sport, referee Willie Collum booked the 30-year-old winger for making gestures to defender Anton Ferdinand.
It was the second yellow card that he had shown the Portuguese, meaning that he was sent off.
Former Celtic and Scotland international winger Provan has given his take on the situation, and has suggested that Rangers winger Candeias should not have been sent off.
Provan wrote about Candeias in The Scottish Sun: “But seriously, what is the game coming to when Candeias finds himself sent-off for a wind-up? You can bet big Anton hasn’t lost any sleep over it. He’s had worse aimed at him.”

Going strong
Rangers are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and currently find themselves third in the standings with 24 points from 12 matches, just two points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic.
According to Transfermarkt.com, Candeias – who joined Rangers from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £700,000 – has scored two goals and provided two assists in eight Scottish Premiership appearances for the Gers so far this season.
