James Forrest is an important player for Celtic.

James Forrest of Celtic looks on before the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Aberdeen and Celtic at Pittodrie Stadium on May 04, 2019 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

David Provan has suggested in The Scottish Sun that Celtic winger James Forrest does not fully know just how good he is.

The former Celtic and Scotland international winger has spoken highly of Forrest, who was recently named PFA Scotland’s Scottish Premiership Player of The Year.

Provan wrote about Forrest in The Scottish Sun: “Congrats to James Forrest after the Celtic winger landed the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award. It’s one hell of a thrill getting the recognition of fellow pros.

“Forrest has everything a wide player needs. And when he finally realises how talented he is, the sky will be the limit.”

Forrest is one of the best wingers in the Scottish Premiership and has been superb for Celtic this season.

According to BBC Sport, the 27-year-old winger has scored 11 goals and provided nine assists in the Scottish Premiership for the Hoops this season.
