Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was a controversial figure against Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Ibrox last weekend.

Former Celtic and Scotland international winger was not too impressed with Morelos during Rangers’ win against Celtic in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox last weekend.
The 22-year-old Colombia international striker was a controversial figure in the Scottish Premiership match, as the youngster was accused of aiming a kick at Celtic midfielder Scott Brown, and seemed to catch Anthony Ralston and grab at Ryan Christie.
Celtic great Provan has compared Morelos to former Leeds and Manchester United ace Cantona, who was a controversial figure as well, but he is without doubt one of the best players to have played in England.
The former France international won the Football League First Division title with Leeds in 1991-92 before clinching the Premier League with Manchester United in 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1997, but there was also that moment when he launched a kung-fu kick at a Crystal Palace fan Selhurst Park.

Provan wrote about Morelos in The Scottish Sun: “The Colombian should have been sent off for the early kick at Scott Brown long before his stamp on Anthony Ralston.
“Despite warnings from Gerrard, the self-regarding Morelos seems to think he is a law unto himself. A bit like Eric Cantona but with a fraction of the talent.”
