Steven Gerrard’s Rangers reportedly want Vaclav Hladky.

Rangers are interested in signing Hladky next summer, according to The Scottish Sun.
It has been reported that Steven Gerrard’s side want to secure the services of the 28-year-old goalkeeper on a pre-contract in January.
The Czech goalkeeper is out of contract at St. Mirren at the end of the season.
Celtic legend Provan has suggested that St. Mirren should cash in on Hladky in the January transfer window instead of keeping hold of him until the end of the season.
Provan wrote in The Scottish Sun: “Tony Fitzpatrick always makes sense but I don’t get the St Mirren chief’s stance on keeper Vaclav Hladky.
Having already turned down a £200,000 bid for Hladky from Qarabag, Saints could get good money for him in January.
“Instead, they’ll make him see out his contract and lose him for nothing. The Buddies must be better off than I thought.”

Speculation over future
Back in May 2019, St Mirren chief executive Tony Fitzpatrick told The Daily Record that he wanted to keep Hladky until the end of this season and even extend his deal.
The goalkeeper recently told The Scottish Sun that Rangers are interested in him and that negotiations are underway, but he suggested that he wants to make a move to the Championship in England before joining a club in the Premier League.
