Everton should make a move for Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina in the summer transfer window.

According to a report in The Mirror earlier this month, David Ospina wants to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that the Colombia international goalkeeper is concerned about his long-term prospects with the Gunners and looks certain to part company with the North London outfit.
With Petr Cech ahead of him in the pecking order and still going strong despite being 34 years of age, it would make sense for Ospina to find a new club at the end of the season.
Ospina is a good goalkeeper, and he has shown that whenever he has played. The 28-year-old made his name first at Atletico Nacional and then at Nice, and Everton would be wise to make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
Some would point out that leaving Arsenal for Everton would be a step down, especially if the Toffees are not in any European competition next season.
However, during his three or so years at the Emirates Stadium, Ospina has not progressed as a goalkeeper due to lack of playing time and has a lot to offer.
If Everton manager Ronald Koeman is able to guaranteed regular playing time for the Colombian, then he could be convinced to switch to Goodison Park.
Everton duo Maarten Stekelenburg and Joel Robles are decent goalkeepers, but Ospina would be a massive upgrade on them.
