Arsenal are interested in signing Mohammed Kudus with the Ajax star considered a target alongside Mason Mount.
That’s according to David Ornstein, who was speaking on NBC Sports ahead of Arsenal’s game with Manchester City.
Arsenal were beaten 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium in a defeat which maybe showed the lack of quality depth the Gunners possess.
Mikel Arteta will be desperate to add new faces this summer to ultimately try and challenge City again next season.
Midfielders will be wanted and it seems that Arsenal want a forward-thinking player.
Ornstein (26/04, 19:24) suggested, as relayed by Daily Cannon, that Arsenal have a couple of names on their wish list, with Ajax star Kudus rivalling Chelsea’s Mount.
Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo are being eyed up for deeper roles with Mount and Kudus wanted further forward.

Arsenal could land a gem in Mohammed Kudus
These claims come after 90Min reported in March that Arsenal have been scouting Kudus in action for Ajax.
It now looks like Arsenal have seen enough to make Kudus an important target for this summer.
The 22-year-old has been in blistering form this season, racking up 18 goals and five assists for Ajax.
Kudus also excelled at the World Cup for Ghana, really making a name for himself over in Qatar.
One thing Mikel Arteta will love about Kudus is the versatility.
Kudus has played as a midfielder, number 10, winger and even false nine, meaning Arteta can move him around in various positions to great effect.
Hailed as ‘outrageous’ when he turns on the style by pundit Rio Ferdinand, Kudus has so much talent and so much potential.
That’s the kind of talent Arsenal have been focusing on in recent times and Kudus would become just the latest top star of the future to be wearing the famous red and white of Arsenal.
