According to Tutto Bologna Web, West Ham are interested in a reunion with Marko Arnautovic, while Crystal Palace are also keen.

The Italian news outlet claim that the Irons hold the advantage, as they can offer European football and have, of course, worked with him before.

Arnautovic left the London Stadium to join Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG back in July 2019.

His exit earned West Ham £22.4 million, and the Austrian forward has shown no signs of slowing down.

In 38 games for the Chinese club, Arnautovic has scored 20 goals.

With David Moyes at the helm, there’s a good chance of West Ham re-signing the 32-year-old, in our view.

Arnautovic enjoyed a great run of form under the Scotsman, scoring 11 goals in 24 Premier League games while also recording six assists.

As a result of his brilliance, Moyes called the former Stoke attacker a ‘terrific’ player when writing a column for the Evening Standard.

The 58-year-old wrote: “It was good to have Arthur back. He gives us some balance on that left-hand side and while he has been out we’ve worked hard with him on his delivery. Arnie was also terrific.”

At 32 years of age, it will be interesting to see if Arnautovic can still deliver the goods in England’s top-flight.

Having said that, if anyone can get the best out of him, it’s Moyes.
