David Moyes has made some phenomenal signings at the helm of West Ham United.

Since his second arrival at the London Stadium in 2019, the club have amassed to dizzying heights. They have cemented themselves as one of the Premier League‘s best and did the same in Europe – when they won the Europa Conference League.

They couldn’t have done this without David Moyes – and more so the players he’s signed. The likes of Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Nayef Aguerd have all been immense.

However, one recent acquisition is proving to shine brighter than most – Mohammed Kudus has been lighting up the Premier League.

Mohammed Kudus has been on fire for West Ham

On the 27th of August 2023, Kudus left Ajax and signed for West Ham United on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, which was reported to be €41.5million (£35.6m).

Moyes snatched the winger away from some of the Premier League big dogs in Manchester United and Arsenal – which he’ll be mightily glad he did so.

The Ghanaian winger has taken little to no time to settle in. He has 10 goals in just 24 games for the Hammers – quickly establishing himself as a vitally important part of their setup.

He’s been worth his weight in gold thus far. Even more so with the statistics to back it up.

Mohammed Kudus now worth double what West Ham paid for him…

Just four months after his arrival, West Ham have more than doubled their return on Mohammed Kudus.

According to CIES Football Observatory, published on 04/01/2024, Kudus is now worth a whopping €93.8M (£80.9m).

Moyes paid €41.5million (£35.6m) for his services, meaning his price has more than doubled since he arrived in London.

Baffling. But it shows how good West Ham United’s recruitment has been as of late. Moyes, and his staff, should be commended.
