West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Fabian Ruiz.

According to a report in ESPN, West Ham United boss David Moyes personally scouted Fabian Ruiz for Real Betis on Sunday.
The Spanish side went down 5-0 to Barcelona, but the 21-year-old midfielder posted an impressive performance nonetheless and Moyes, if he was there, likely left Seville with added incentive to bring him to London this month.

West Ham fans expressed their excitement on Tuesday over possibly signing him, but should the thought of Moyes being there in the first place give the supporters more reason for optimism?
Throughout January, the Hammers boss has been pretty clear in what he wants – a midfielder with Premier League experience.

And considering that he is seemingly willing to bend that criteria to accommodate Ruiz suggests that the youngster might be a special talent indeed.
Surely he would not have been in attendance if signing the Betis starlet wasn’t viable, and modifying his transfer preference to tailor him might indicate that he doesn’t want to miss out on Ruiz.
He has scored two and set up two goals in 15 Primera Division games this season.
