West Ham boss David Moyes addressed the media today, ahead of his side’s clash with Leicester City in the Premier League tomorrow, and responded when asked whether Andy Carroll will be selected as part of his match-day squad, as quoted by Football.London.

The 29-year-old was sent home from training this week after a furious bust-up with Moyes, and was later fined by the club, as confirmed by the Scot himself in today’s press conference.

The Hammers have endured an extremely difficult campaign thus far, and currently sit in 15th spot in the Premier League table, just three points clear of the relegation zone.

Moyes’ men are in desperate need of all three points against the Foxes tomorrow, but history certainly is not on their side.

The Hammers have not won at the King Power Stadium since 2012, and they are hardly heading into tomorrow’s fixture in great form, having not won in their last four Premier League outings.

Andy Carroll thanks the fans during a lap of honor after the Premier League match between West Ham United and Liverpool at London Stadium on May 14, 2017 in Stratford, England.

They could certainly do with a fit and firing Andy Carroll against Leicester, regardless of his recent indiscretions.

The West Ham manager addressed the media this morning, and responded to questions asking him whether the 6ft 4in hitman will be part of his match-day squad tomorrow, as quoted by Football.London:

“We fined him, he’s apologised to the players and myself. We have moved on, it’s done and dusted. He was in the squad last weekend and will be this weekend.”

West Ham can more or less secure their Premier League status for another season with a win tomorrow, but in truth, they would probably settle for a draw if it was offered to them now.
