Sunderland have made one signing throughout the January transfer window so far, with Joleon Lescott joining on a free transfer.
The Black Cats are also expected to complete a move for both Darron Gibson and Byran Oviedo from Everton in the near future.

Moyes does not want to stop there, though, and insists that he still has plans of bringing in a new forward.
Sunderland have a lack of options to play up-front beyond Jermain Defoe, and Ulloa is believed to be on their wishlist.
However, Moyes refused to confirm whether or not he was interested in bringing the forward to the Stadium of Light.
Ulloa recently tweeted that he ‘wanted to feel like a footballer’ again, after struggling to break into Leicester’s team this season.
Sunderland are currently rock bottom of the Premier League table, and are next in action against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow evening.
