West Ham United are still set to make additions in the January transfer window.

West Ham’s rise up the Premier League table, has led to fears that David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady could decide that additions aren’t needed.
However, Moyes insists that the Hammers’ board know of the need for more quality to be added, and he has backed them to spend in the coming weeks.

“I actually think the owners are well aware of us needing to add to the squad. We’re short in certain areas,” Moyes said.
“They are football people, they certainly want us to get away from the bottom of the league and so do I, so the results against Huddersfield and Stoke have shown we can get higher up the table.”
West Ham have enjoyed a huge improvement since Moyes took over, and they have begun to move away from the relegation zone.

The Hammers are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table, after winning 4-1 against Huddersfield Town in their last match.
West Ham battered the Terriers, with a brace from Manuel Lanzini and goals from Marko Arnautovic and Mark Noble providing them with the three points.
Moyes’ side are now five points clear of the bottom three, and will want to put even more daylight between themselves and the drop zone in the coming weeks.
