West Ham United boss David Moyes has hinted that no new signings may be made this month.

Moyes admits that West Ham could make one or two more additions before the end of the transfer window, but he is not desperate to add.
The Scottish boss is happy to stick with what he currently has at West Ham, but his comments surely risk aggravating a frustrated Hammers crowd even more.

West Ham fans have been urging their board to spend money on some new additions.
David Sullivan even released a statement confirming that West Ham were looking to make signings before the end of the month last week.
But Moyes’ comments suggest that he is not convinced that West Ham will have any more new players before the transfer window closes.
He said: “Yes, maybe one or two players [will come in]. But will I be disappointed if I don’t get anybody in? I would have to say no, because the expectancy level right now is not that high.

“I’d rather bring in nobody that people who I don’t think will not have any impact or influence. It’s waste of money, it might sound sexy but ultimately you end up having players who you don’t want for the future.”
West Ham have brought in just one new player so far this month, with Joao Mario arriving on loan from Inter Milan.
West Ham fans have been appealing for permanent additions, rather than temporary fixes to be made this month.
And if West Ham do not make any more new signings this month, then Hammers fans are likely to be more frustrated than Moyes.
