West Ham United boss David Moyes has praised Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou ahead of them locking horns in the Premier League tonight.
Tottenham return to Premier League action this evening as they host London rivals West Ham United.
Spurs secured a 3-3 draw away at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon and will be looking to claim a victory tonight.
Ange Postecoglou has now gone four Premier League games without a win and would love to get fully back on track in a London derby with West Ham.
David Moyes praises Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou
Tonight’s clash pits two managers were Celtic ties against each other.
Postecoglou spent two years in charge of the Bhoys before deciding to leave for a move to Tottenham over the summer.
David Moyes spent time with Celtic in the early stages of his playing days and was actually linked with replacing Postecoglou at Parkhead.
Moyes has now told the London Evening Standard that he thinks Postecoglou has been ‘remarkable’ in his early stages at Tottenham.
The Scot feels that Postecoglou has ‘made a big difference’ at Spurs and has totally changed the atmosphere around the club.
Moyes referenced the pressure Postecoglou coped with at Celtic and believes that Tottenham are now as good as any other Premier League right now.
“He’s been remarkable,” Moyes said. “Tottenham are a really, really good side and he’s made a big difference to what they do and how they play. He’s made a big difference to the crowd and the atmosphere. I’m a bit surprised that everybody else was surprised after how well he did at Celtic. For anyone who follows it, to manage Celtic Football Club is enormous, the pressure and what comes with the job. Ange was able to cope and deal with it.”
“If you’re asking me at the minute, I think Tottenham are as good as any side in the Premier League,” he added.

Postecoglou will attempt to defy his doubters at Tottenham
Not everybody has been entirely convinced by Postecoglou’s daring approach.
Tottenham go for it in every single game and Postecoglou doesn’t change his approach for anybody – not when down to nine men, not when playing the Premier League champions.
Spurs will continue to be adventurous in and out of possession under the Australian as he looks to build a style and a culture for the long term.
Pundits may be a little baffled at times but Postecoglou has united the Tottenham fanbase behind his daring approach.
We don’t expect that to change against West Ham tonight with Moyes and co facing a tough challenge against this new Spurs side.
