New West Ham United manager David Moyes left Sunderland at the end of last season.

Former Manchester United and Everton boss Moyes was appointed the Sunderland manager in July 2016.
The Scotsman replaced Sam Allardyce at the Stadium of Light, but he failed to keep the Black Cats in the Premier League.

Sunderland got relegated to the Championship at the end of last season, and Moyes subsequently parted company with the club.
Now in charge of West Ham, Moyes has revealed that he did not know that Sunderland chairman Short was planning to sell the club when he took the managerial role.
“When I joined the club, I didn’t know Ellis was looking to sell the club,” Moyes said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 live on Monday evening (8:17pm, November 13, 2017).

West Ham are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
As for Sunderland, the Black Cats are struggling in the Championship and could go down to League One.
