West Ham United have been linked with a move for Stoke City’s Joe Allen recently.

However, Moyes claims that he has far too much respect for Stoke to discuss transfer targets, and has claimed that there is nothing in the rumour anyway.
“Nope, there is nothing,” Moyes said. “I have got too much respect for the people who run Stoke City to comment on anything.”

Despite Moyes’ denial of his interest in Allen, the Scottish boss did suggest that transfers were on his mind.
West Ham are still locked in a relegation battle, despite their improvements of late.
And Moyes insists that he has big plans in his head for the incoming additions he wants to make at the London Stadium.
He said: “In my head, I have got big plans.
“But you don’t always get then. There is a lot of talk at the moment but not a lot of transfers as people are trying to see what is out there, what is available.

“There isn’t an awful lot at the moment, I might stand corrected at the end of the month but would I like some at the end of the month? Definitely.”
West Ham have managed to ease some of the relegation fears around the club, since Moyes has arrived.
The Hammers have started to pick up wins far more regularly than when Slaven Bilic was in charge, and came from behind to claim a crucial three points against West Bromwich Albion last night.
