West Ham United have really struggled in the Premier League this season.

Hammers boss David Moyes sat down for his post-match press conference, and not only raved about his players’ performance against Leicester last night, but also found the time to offer high praise for the club’s supporters, who stuck by their team throughout at the London Stadium last night, as quoted by WHUFC.com.
The Foxes looked like they were going to make things even worse for West Ham and Moyes last night, after taking an early lead, but after Cheikhou Kouyaté’s equaliser, there was only ever going to be one winner.
Unfortunately for the east Londoners, however, they could not break through Leicester’s stubborn defence again, and the match ended up finishing all square.

Moyes though, was far from disheartened with the final result, and took time to sing the praises of the Hammers faithful, when speaking to reporters, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“It’s not been the best place for us, but I thought the players’ performance warranted more. I thought the crowd were fantastic, so all the negatives I’ve heard about the crowd, I thought the opposite and that they were great, they really were. I think any player will tell you that West Ham has always been a tough place to come over the years, with a tough crowd and they can make it that way in this stadium as well, and I think they did tonight.”

Moyes faces a real challenge over the next few weeks, with games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal on the horizon, and his players and the club’s supporters will have to produce something similar to what they showed last night on a consistent basis, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of avoiding relegation this season.
