Moyes also updated on Vito Mannone, Fabio Borini and Lee Cattermole.
Sunderland manager David Moyes had some positive injury news as Sebastian Larsson has returned to full training, the Chronicle reports.
The midfielder appears to be one of four players who are making progress, with Vito Mannone, Fabio Borini and Lee Cattermole seemingly nearing returns.

Moyes is quoted in the Chronicle, saying: “Seb is ahead of schedule but he will probably need the best part of three to four weeks of football sessions.
“Vito has done an awful lot of goalkeeping work, diving and what have you. He hasn’t done full stretches yet, but he is very close to rejoining full training too.
“Fabio Borini was running on Friday.
“There are just a few signs that these long-termers are starting to come back and getting closer to being ready.”

It’s welcome news for Moyes that some players are nearing fitness again, though as he stated, it could take a little while for them to be in a position to play regularly.
The Black Cats are really struggling after official recording the worst start to a Premier League season – which sees them bottom of the table with two points from their opening 10 games.
Injuries have played their part, though it can debated just how much of an impact they have had, and Moyes has had to make changes to his side on several occasions this season.
Sunderland’s John O’Shea is substituted
There are still numerous other worries, though. John O’Shea limped off during the weekend’s defeat to Arsenal while Jan Kirchhoff is still sidelined – though Adnan Januzaj and Jason Denayer have recently become available after recovering from problems of their own.
Sunderland will be hoping that more players returning from injury will soon translate into them putting more points on the board. It looks as though it is going to be a long season for the Black Cats, but it could get even longer without some positive results very soon.
