Sunderland were beaten 2-0 by Swansea City in their last fixture at the Stadium of Light this season.

David Moyes has suggested to the Chronicle that Sunderland fans did not appear to be too upset, before Swansea City opened the scoring at the weekend.
Sunderland’s players were lambasted during their last contest against Swansea, as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat.
The Black Cats’ performance was awful during the fixture, with the players accused of a lack of effort.
By full-time the atmosphere had turned toxic, with Sunderland supporters hurling criticism towards David Moyes and the squad.

However, Moyes did not feel that the atmosphere was too bad before Swansea scored their opening goal.
The Scottish manager said: “There was nothing shouted (by the fans) in the first ten minutes or so when we were in the game and doing okay.”

Swansea scored their goals through Fernando Llorente and Kyle Naughton, and Sunderland never threatened to get back into the contest.
Sunderland’s players may be grateful that they will have no further matches at the Stadium of Light this season, with the North East side’s remaining two fixtures coming against Arsenal and Chelsea.
