David Moyes has confirmed to BBC Sport that West Ham United forward Michail Antonio’s injury is not a bad one.
Antonio had to sit out of West Ham’s game against Manchester United last night, which has sparked concerns that he could be injured again.
But when asked whether Antonio could be back to feature against Sheffield United on Monday, Moyes said: “I hope so. I don’t think it’s too bad.”
That looks like a huge boost for the Hammers, who will be desperate to get Antonio back in their team sooner rather than later.
West Ham’s striking options look seriously short without Antonio, following the sale of Sebastien Haller.

The Hammers did try and bring in a number nine over the January transfer window, but they were unable to – and West Ham are now very reliant on the 30-year-old staying fit.
Moyes opted to play Andriy Yarmolenko up-front last night, but he failed to make much of an impression, as they exited the FA Cup.
