Sunderland managed to pick up a 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion in their most recent match.

Sunderland boss David Moyes has told the Chronicle that Wahbi Khazri gave the ball away unnecessarily during the Black Cats’ match against West Bromwich Albion.
Khazri was a key player as Sunderland avoided relegation last term, but Moyes has generally opted against using the Tunisian so far.
Khazri has regularly been used as a substitute so far, but he was restored to Sunderland’s starting line-up last weekend.

The 25-year-old was handed an important attacking role for Sunderland, but Moyes wasn’t totally happy with the 25-year-old’s display.
“He’s got the ability on the ball and I thought he kept the ball better, but he gave it away on a couple of occasions, which was unnecessary,” Moyes said.
“All round he played better and his deliveries were better, but we can’t just be playing someone for their deliveries. We need people to be part of it but I think his contribution was better, he just ran of steam in the last part of the game really.”

Sunderland could only pick up a 1-1 draw with West Brom, with a late goal from Patrick Van Aanholt rescuing a point for the Wearsiders.
Sunderland are still looking for their first win in the Premier League this season, after what has been a disappointing start.
The Black Cats are currently bottom of the table, with their next match coming against fellow strugglers Stoke City after the international break.
