West Ham United are set to take on Chelsea at the weekend, with Adrian in goal.

Adrian impressed for West Ham, when he was selected to play against Manchester City on Sunday, and the Spaniard will now keep his place.
Although Joe Hart was brought to the London Stadium in the summer, on relatively big wages, Moyes’ decision is the correct one.

Hart has been shaky so far, and if the England international had come straight back into the starting line-up it would have sent out completely the wrong message.
With West Ham in terrible form, Moyes needs to ignore reputation and pick players on performances.

If Adrian had been dropped again, the 30-year-old stopper would have justifiably had questions to ask of Moyes. But by sticking by Adrian, Moyes has proven that he will reward good performances.
Hart should now have to earn his spot back in the team, and that could be tough, if Adrian keeps the same level of performance up that he did against City.
