David Moyes is calling the shots for West Ham United in the transfer window, he says.

West Ham United boss David Moyes has revealed to Football London that co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold have told him that he has full control over the club’s transfers.
January is just around the corner and it gives West Ham the opportunity to improve their squad following a disastrous first few months under Slaven Bilic this season.
Moyes replaced the Croat toward the end of November and there has been undeniable progress, with the Hammers thumping Stoke City and beating Premier League champions Chelsea earlier this month.

But the Scottish manager, whose side are only one point above the relegation zone, can’t afford to rest on his laurels and next month’s January transfer window represents a chance for him to put his own mark on the squad.
Gold and Sullivan played a role in some of Bilic’s summer signings and their pursuit of William Carvalho descended into farce back in August, but the former Everton and Manchester United boss is adamant that he will be calling the shots over arrivals and departures.

Asked by Football London whether he’ll have the final say, Moyes said: “Nobody wants the final say at the club but the manager is the one that always takes it.
“If you bring the players in then you will be the one judged by them. If I wasn’t the one bringing them in, I wouldn’t have come to the club the first place because I want to be judged by my team and the players I bring in and I have not known anything different.
“The owners have always told me it will be my decision.”
