The Hammers are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just nine points from 11 matches.
The London club are in danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season.
Moyes has yet to take charge of a game as West Ham manager, but the former Sunderland and Everton boss seems quite confident about his team’s chances of survival.
The former Manchester United manager has also admitted that it is difficult to settle on a best XI at West Ham.
“There is a stronger squad of players here,” Moyes told The Sun. “It will be difficult to identify necessarily an 11.
“I’m sure many people will pick different teams but there is a group of players here, where realistically 15 or 16 could potentially be starting every Saturday. I don’t think West Ham have a bad team. There are wins there.”
Meanwhile, West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has suggested in The Sun that Bilic never recovered from the departure of attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet.
Payet left West Ham for his former club Marseille in January 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £25 million.
“In his first six months, when Dimitri Payet was inspiring the team with his Gallic brilliance, Bilic sometimes looked pensive, as though he thought this was a lucky break and might not go on,” Brady wrote in The Sun. “He never quite recovered after the player staged a strike and went back to Marseille.”
