The Irishman was certainly having a good joke on Twitter today.
Hull City are said to be in the running to sign the Portuguese winger Nani from Valencia this transfer deadline day.
It is reported by the Daily Mail, among others, that Hull City boss Marco Silva is hopeful of bringing his countryman to the KCOMM Stadium this month.
Nani was excellent for Portugal in the summer as they won the European Championships and has been in good form since joining Valencia in the summer.

But the Spanish club continue to struggle and Silva is clearly hopeful he can get his hands on him.But it has caused a humorous reaction from Hull City’s midfielder David Meyler.
The Irish international posted this tweet earlier, with tongue firmly placed in his cheek, as he hinted at Nani being late for training with his hypothetical new team-mates:
Hull have recently lost Robert Snodgrass to West Ham United and Nani would be the perfect replacement for the Scotland international.
Whether they could convince him to get involved in a Premier League relegation battle may be a hard task – but Hull fans will hope they find a way.
