It’s probably football’s worst kept secret that Arsenal have already signed Gabriel Magalhaes.
There’s been no announcement by the Gunners as of yet, but Sky Sports reported last week that a deal was done to sign the Brazilian, who cost £27 million.
And a London-based gardening company uploaded a photo on Instagram of the 22-year-old standing outside what could potentially be his new home on Friday.
But now there’s a bigger sign that Gabriel is already an Arsenal player.
Mikel Arteta’s side beat Liverpool on penalties to win the Community Shield at Wembley on Saturday.
David Luiz was among those to score during the shootout and the veteran centre-back posted footage of his penalty on Instagram.
And who responded to it? Yep, you guessed it – Gabriel.
Is this evidence that a deal is done? Nope, but it certainly strengthens the idea that Luiz and Gabriel are teammates and therefore it’s almost certain that he’s already a Gunner.
The player is self-isolating at the moment and once that ends, Arsenal will more than likely announce him.
