Manchester United’s win over Arsenal moved the Red Devils up to seventh in the Premier League table. The Old Trafford outfit are now only three points outside the top four, which Arsenal would have broken into at West Ham’s expense if they had taken all three points.
The Irons are without a win in three games following two losses and a draw. Brighton snatched an equaliser in the 89th minute on Wednesday to leave West Ham just one point above Arsenal.
James hinted at West Ham’s fourth spot in the Premier League after Arsenal lost at Manchester United. The former England star simply noted: “Great result, for West Ham.”

Manchester United beating Arsenal at Old Trafford on Thursday night was indeed ‘great’ for West Ham’s Premier League top-four hopes.
The Hammers have struggled for form since the November international break and would have dropped to fifth if Arsenal had won.
Instead, they stayed fourth ahead of hosting table-toppers Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.
David Moyes’ side face a tough task against the Blues to end their winless streak. Thomas Tuchel’s men are unbeaten since September and have won six of their past eight games.
