The former Liverpool goalkeeper believes the club have brought a future star to Anfield.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James has tweeted his approval of the club’s new signing Loris Karius and suggested that he, along with the club’s other stoppers, can go on to become a top-class player.
Karius joined the Reds from Mainz for £4.7 million on Tuesday and has taken the number one shirt, and is already being tipped by some to take over from Simon Mignolet as the club’s first choice next season.
The 22-year-old was voted the Bundesliga’s third best goalkeeper this season in an official poll run by the German top flight’s website, and there are high hopes that he can become a European star of the future.

Jurgen Klopp admitted after the confirmation of Karius’ signing that he was delighted to get a quick deal done for the goalkeeper, and James believes the Reds boss has brought a special talent to Anfield.
The former England number one tweeted: “I have seen a lot of footage on Loris Karius, LFC have recruited well! [Danny] Ward, Mignolet and Karius can be coached to be proper top stoppers!”
Liverpool fans will certainly be pleased to see Klopp move quickly to bring in another goalkeeper, after an underwhelming and inconsistent season for Simon Mignolet, and will be praying that Karius’ arrival brings more stability at the back.
