Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers re-signed Steven Davis last month.

David Healy has tipped Steven Davis to have a major impact at Rangers next season.
The Northern Ireland midfielder re-signed for the Gers on a short-term loan in January, before manager Steven Gerrard made the move permanent last month.
It was originally difficult for Davis back at Ibrox but, as time went on, the 34-year-old reminded Scottish football and Rangers fans of his class.
He was one of the light Blues’ best and most consistent players over the final few months of last season, and Healy, who also spent time with Rangers, says that his former team-mate has a lot more to offer going forward.
He told Belfast Live: “He can play a big part for Rangers going forward because he’s that good.
“I don’t want to be talking out of school because it’s up to Gerrard who he plays and in my opinion he is doing a very good job at Rangers but I know the quality that Steven has and I feel he will be a big, big player for the club next season.”
What a coup Davis is for Rangers. Not only is he a brilliant talent but he’s committed to the cause, evident by the fact he’s only earning £12,000 per week in Glasgow [The Scottish Sun]. At Southampton, he was on £60,000.
That’s one hell of a wage cut, but one that epitomises his love for the Scottish club.
Yes, his best days are behind him, but he’s certainly got a few more solid ones left in the tank.
