Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has reportedly told Kyle Lafferty to leave the Gers.
Kyle Lafferty of Rangers
Lafferty returned to Rangers in the summer of 2018 when the Gers signed the forward from Heart of Midlothian for a transfer fee reported by The Glasgow Evening Times to be worth £500,000.
The 31-year-old Northern Ireland international forward made six starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers last season, scoring four goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has told Lafferty that he does not have a future at Ibrox, according to The Scottish Sun, and his former Gers and Northern Ireland international teammate thinks that the 31-year-old has simply not taken his chances.
Healy told The Scottish Sun about Lafferty: “If you speak to Kyle he will probably say he he hasn’t done enough when given the opportunity.
“Others will say he wasn’t given enough chances by Gerrard, but I think Kyle has had enough chances at Rangers.
“I hope it works out for him at a new club where he can settle down and get back to his best.”

Leaving Rangers
Lafferty is behind Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe in the pecking order at Rangers, and it is hard to see the 31-year-old forward stay at the Gers beyond this summer.
It would make sense for the Northern Ireland international to find another club this summer.
