Timothy Weah joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.

The former Celtic midfielder and manager has been impressed with the impact that Weah has already made for the Hoops.
The 18-year-old striker joined the Bhoys on loan from French giants PSG in the January transfer window.
According to WhoScored, the USA international has made two starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic, scoring two goals in the process.
Hay has praised Weah, and has said that he could see the young and promising striker stay at Celtic beyond the summer of 2019.

Hay wrote about Weah in The Glasgow Evening Times: “It is early days, of course, but Timothy Weah is a boy that looks so comfortable at Celtic that you could see him staying beyond May.
“The youngster signed a new contract with PSG prior to boarding the plane for his loan move to Celtic so it is unlikely that there would be any chance of getting him on a permanent deal but I do wonder just what the scope might be for his extending his current loan period.
“Right now, he looks like such a good fit for Celtic – and Celtic looks like a good fit for him.”
Hibernian not happy
Meanwhile, Hibernian are not happy that Celtic trio Scott Brown, Jozo Simunovic and Oliver Burke will not be punished, according to Capital City Press.
It has been reported that Hibernian defender Darnell Johnson, currently on loan from Premier League club Leicester City, is facing a two-game ban for a tackle on Hoops defender Emilio Izaguirre during the Scottish Premiership game between the two sides at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening.
