David Hay has spoken highly of Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard in The Glasgow Evening Times.

The former Celtic midfielder and manager has also suggested that Edouard should start for the Hoops against Hibernian at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership this weekend alongside fellow striker Leigh Griffiths.

Hay wrote about Edouard in The Glasgow Evening Times: “When the two of them have played together I think Edouard has tended to be on the left but I think that he is more suited to a central role.

“I don’t know if that means there is a chance for him to come and drift inside a bit in order for the two of them to link up a bit more because I’m not sure that we have quite seen the best of Edouard yet this season.

“I think he is an exceptional talent and he took his goal against Salzburg well over in Austria a few weeks back but I do think that there is still more to come from him.”
