David Hay expects Celtic goalkeeper Dorus de Vries to feature against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.

David Hay has predicted in The Glasgow Evening Times that Dorus de Vries would return to the Celtic starting lineup this weekend.
Celtic will take on Kilmarnock at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The Bhoys will head into the match on the back of a 2-0 victory over Alloa Athletic at Celtic Park in the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup. Craig Gordon started the match in goal and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay believes that Gordon will not feature against Kilmarnock and will be replaced in the team by De Vries.
“You would have to say that while Rodgers is clearly a fan of de Vries having worked with him before at Swansea, there is still a few doubters among observers over whether or not he is a better goalkeeper than Gordon,” Hay wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times.
“Those doubts are relatively meaningless if the manager has made his call, which he appears to have done, but it is really up to the goalkeeper now to go out and prove that he is in there because he deserves to be.
“There is a real scrutiny on the position now because of what has happened over the past few weeks and given the fact that he perhaps came into the team before he was fully fit, it might be that he requires an opportunity to cement his place in the side.
“I would certainly expect to see him back in between the sticks for the game against Kilmarnock tomorrow afternoon.”

De Vries joined Celtic from English club Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper has already established himself in the Bhoys’ starting lineup.
The performances of the former Swansea City man have not been great, and he has yet to convince everyone that he is a better goalkeeper than Gordon.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 13 points from five matches, three points clear with a game in hand.
