David Hay has written in The Glasgow Evening Times that Celtic forward Moussa Dembele has played well in all of the big games so far this season.

Dembele joined Celtic in the summer transfer window after leaving English club Fulham at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 20-year-old France Under-20 international forward has established himself as a key player for the Bhoys.

The youngster has been among the goals already for Brendan Rodgers’s side and appears to have been a massive hit in the Scottish Premiership.

Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay has praised Dembele for his performances in the big matches for the Glasgow giants so far this campaign.

“I think that Dembele has settled in to the side and he has shown already that he can step up,” Hay wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times.

“I know he missed the penalty against Barcelona but overall his performances in the big games have been decent.”

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 13 points from five matches.

The Hoops are three points clear at the top of the standings and have a game in hand.

The Glasgow giants will take on Kilmarnock at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

Kilmarnock have picked up six points from as many matches in the league so far this season.
