Do Celtic need to sign another striker in the summer transfer window?

David Hay has suggested to The Glasgow Evening Times that Celtic should sign a striker in the summer transfer window.
Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths are the two main strikers at the moment for the Bhoys, who have already won the Scottish Premiership title this season.
French striker Dembele has been a star for the Hoops so far this season, scoring 32 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions.
Griffiths, who is a Scotland international, has struggled with injuries this campaign, but the 26-year-old remains an important player for the team.
Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay believes that Brendan Rodgers’s side need to sign a striker in the summer.
“I’m not really surprised that Brendan Rodgers is targeting that area of the Celtic team, even though I feel that the attack is probably the priority area given the lack of cover,” Hay told The Glasgow Evening Times.
“You just have to look at the line-up in the last couple of games where Celtic haven’t been able to field a recognised striker due to the injuries to Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.”
Hay’s suggestion is sound and makes perfect sense. Despite having Griffiths and Dembele in attack, Celtic should be looking to sign another striker.
For the Glasgow giants to qualify to the group stage of the Champion League next season and perhaps progress further, they need options.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers would be wise to sign a striker in the summer transfer window.
