Celtic midfielder Scott Brown is reportedly wanted by Western Melbourne in the summer of 2019.

According to The Scottish Sun, newly-formed A-League club Western Melbourne are interested in signing Brown at the end of the season.
The former Celtic midfielder is out of contract at the Glasgow giants in the summer of 2019.
Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay has suggested that 33-year-old Brown should leave the Glasgow giants next summer.
Hay wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times about Brown: “A possible move to Australia for the Celtic captain – wonderful servant to the club as he has been over the years – could well be the best move for both parties at the end of the season.
“The game against Rangers isn’t the sole motivation for saying that, but it certainly highlighted why it may be time to consider his options.
“Whereas in the past he has dominated that midfield area, he struggled at Ibrox, and that is the reason why I think for the first time personally that it could be a real possibility he will choose to move on.”

Leaving Celtic
Brown has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million.
The former Scotland international has been superb for the Hoops over the years, but there are signs that the 33-year-old is slowing down.
Celtic cannot rely on Brown forever, and it will make sense for the midfielder to leave the Hoops in the summer of 2019 for an adventure in Australia.
