David Haigh praises Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani.

David Haigh has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani for buying back Elland Road.

As announced on Leeds’s official website earlier this month, the West Yorkshire outfit have completed the purchase of Elland Road.

Work to improve and upgrade the stadium has already started and will be completed by the start of the season.

Former Leeds Managing Director Haigh has praised Radrizzani for buying back Elland Road. Haigh has also praised the chairman for renaming Leeds Ladies FC as Leeds United Ladies.

Leeds narrowly failed to finish in the top six of the Championship last season, but things are looking positive for the Whites at the moment.

There is a sense of optimistic at the club, and one suspects that the team will be pushing for the playoffs yet again during the 2017-18 campaign.

The West Yorkshire outfit have been quite busy this summer. Thomas Christiansen has replaced Garry Monk as the Leeds manager, with Mateusz Klich signed for the first team.
