Former Leeds MD says he is planning a return to football.

Former Leeds United managing director David Haigh is planning a return to football, he has announced.
Haigh helped assist GFH Capital in their takeover at Leeds in 2012, ending the Ken Bates era at the club.
He spent two years at the Whites before resigning after GFH sold a majority stake to Massimo Cellino in 2014.
That was only the start of Haigh’s troubles, as he was detained in Dubai for 22 months, with The BBC reporting in 2016 that he was eventually acquitted with no charges against him proven.
Haigh stated on Twitter last night that he has a potential new role lined up at another mystery club, commenting that he enjoyed his spell at Leeds United so much.
Haigh’s spell at Leeds did not prove to be a success, with GFH Capital failing to splash the cash, and Leeds getting no closer to realising their dream of winning promotion back to the Premier League.
He has a lot to prove as a result, and appears determined not to let the disastrous fallout of the end of his Whites tenure put him off an involvement in football.
Leeds meanwhile are going strong, currently sitting in fifth position in the Championship and eyeing a play-off spot.
