Could David Gold and David Sullivan sell West Ham United like they sold Birmingham City?

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he and fellow club chairman David Sullivan do not plan to sell the club.
Gold and Sullivan completed their takeover of West Ham back in June 2010, as reported by The Guardian at the time.
The Hammers have progressed quite a lot since then, establishing themselves in the Premier League and then moving to the London Stadium at the start of 2016-17 campaign.
The duo sold Birmingham City in October 2009, as reported by The Birmingham Mail.
Gold has explained that decision on Twitter, and has also suggested that he will not sell West Ham.

West Ham are a massive club, and the fact that they are getting over 50,000 fans for their home matches this season underlines their potential.
Results so far this season have been disappointing and fans are understandably frustrated, but faith should be maintained in manager Slaven Bilic to turn things around.
The Hammers will return to action on Saturday evening when they take on Tottenham Hotspur away from home at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
