West Ham United have struggled to settle into their new home this season.

Hammers co-owner David Gold took to Twitter to provide an update on the club’s proposed stadium capacity increase to 66,000, but it seems like there has once again been another setback.
Hammers fans have been highly critical of Gold, and fellow owner David Sullivan, blaming them for what has been an underwhelming campaign, brought about by a succession of broken promises.
Slaven Bilic’s side currently sit in 13th position in the Premier League table, and their fans have been left frustrated after the club’s owners failed to provide the Croatian with the necessary financial backing in the summer.
The transition to their new London Stadium has also proved to be troublesome.

It seems as though those words could prove to be hollow, however, after the Hammers co-owner tweeted today that their plans to develop the stadium are proving more difficult than first thought:
The West Ham faithful will surely become even more disillusioned after Gold’s latest comments, and the only way the relationship between supporters and owners will improve is if the board put their money where their mouth is in the summer, by bringing players of genuine quality into the club.
