West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has not played to his usual high standards this season.

West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble is not having a good season. Injuries have affected the Englishman, whose performances when he has played have been disappointing.
The 29-year-old midfielder has scored three goals and created 23 chances in 26 Premier League appearances for West Ham so far this season.
West Ham co-chairman David Gold has spoken highly of the Englishman, who has been at the club his entire professional club football career so far.
“Not only is he a good player, he is a motivator, a leader, and he has a great influence on the players around him,” Gold wrote about Noble on West Ham’s official website.
“Mark is one of the best captains I have come across during my years in the game – he cares as passionately about West Ham United as anyone.”
Noble is not a world-class midfielder and he will never be, and West Ham will find similar type of players with more quality if they try.
The 29-year-old, though, is West Ham through and through, and knows the club inside out.
The Hammers are struggling at the moment and are in danger of getting sucked into the Premier League relegation dogfight.
Noble will play a key role in helping Slaven Bilic’s side recover their form and push for a top-10 finish in the league this season.
