West Ham United need to significantly improve their squad to push on next season.

West Ham United joint-owner David Gold has taken to Twitter to explain how many players he feels the Hammers need to sign this summer.
Slaven Bilic’s side have had an up-and-down campaign but they can now look ahead to 2018, when they will be hoping to challenge for a European place once more.
The Croatian made some uninspiring signings last summer, bringing the likes of Alvaro Arbeloa, Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri to the London Stadium, and he will need to do a lot better this time round.
Writing on social media on Tuesday afternoon, Gold said, “We must bring in three or four quality players to strengthen the squad.”
It remains to be seen who those players will be but there is no doubting the need for a new right-back and additional fire-power up front.

Questions continue to be asked of left-back Aaron Cresswell and skipper Mark Noble, and more strength in the centre of the park should not be discounted.
West Ham head into the final few matches of the season with 39 points from 35 matches, six points clear of the relegation zone with three games remaining.
