West Ham United will face Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has written on the club’s official website that Simone Zaza is fit and raring to go.
Zaza joined West Ham on a season-long loan deal from Italian giants Juventus in the summer transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, the Hammers had to pay Juventus a loan fee of £4.3 million in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old striker.
West Ham co-chairman Gold has stated that the Italy international is fit and raring to go.
“It promises to be an exciting afternoon as we should also see Simone Zaza make his debut following his big move from Juventus,” Gold wrote on West Ham’s official website. “He is fit and raring to go.
“He is a big player and has achieved a lot during his career. I am sure it will be a big day for him making his Premier League debut, but I am confident that he will show his quality.”
Zaza has arrived at the London Stadium with a strong reputation, and West Ham will expect him to be a key player as the season progresses.
The former Sampdoria striker scored five goals and created six chances in 19 Serie A appearances for Juventus last season.
In four Champions League matches for the Italian giants during the 2015-16 campaign, Zaza scored two goals and created two chances.
West Ham will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Watford at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
