Reece Oxford has not made a Premier League appearance for West Ham United so far.
David Gold has suggested that Reece Oxford has not played much for West Ham United this season, as Slaven Bilic feels he has better options in central defence.
Oxford is regarded as one of West Ham’s top prospects, and he recently signed a new contract with the London club.
The 18-year-old made seven appearances for the Hammers in the Premier League last term.
However, both of Oxford’s appearances this time around have come in the Europa League.
And when asked why Oxford had seemingly fallen completely out of Bilic’s plans, Gold responded by suggesting that the youngster simply wasn’t good enough just yet to earn a starting place.

Oxford was injured over the first few months of the campaign, and has not been able to get back into Bilic’s plans.
The youngster has featured on West Ham’s substitutes’ bench in some matches, but he is yet to be utilised in the Premier League.
It remains to be seen whether Oxford will be loaned out by West Ham over January.
