West Ham may have won their last two matches, but their performances have failed to convince fans of the London club that they are out of trouble.
Hull hit the woodwork three times yesterday, and West Ham were reliant on a dubious penalty to get past the Tigers.
And Gold has admitted that West Ham were not at their best against Hull, but he believes it is a good sign that they are winning while playing poorly.
West Ham’s recent run of positives results has lifted them away from trouble, and up into 13th place in the Premier League table.
