West Ham United co-chairman David Gold hits back at Jason Cundy.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has hit back at Jason Cundy’s criticism on social networking site Twitter.
Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur defender Cundy was recently quoted as saying by Football.london that the Hammers are doing everything on the cheap.
Cundy, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, claimed that West Ham manager Slaven Bilic should think of leaving the club.
Gold has hit back at the criticism, pointing out that West Ham’s transfer strategy works.
West Ham have made mistakes in the summer transfer window and have signed players that they should not have.
Simone Zaza should never have been recruited, but one has also got to remember that the Hammers brought in Dimitri Payet.
All signings are gambles – to an extent – and West Ham fans should be patient with the board and have faith in the chiefs.
Breaking into the top six of the Premier League is not going to be easy for West Ham, but they can certainly make themselves regulars in the top 10.
